Izzy is the Marketing and Sales Manager of a Small Business – his boss, the owner of the firm has just announced the sales targets for 2011, a 25% growth. “How am I going to do this,” Izzy ponders. Although the economy looks like it might be improving, it’s still early days yet, and people aren’t confident enough to start spending.

Izzy is determined to achieve his sales targets and realizes he needs to focus on the ‘how’.

He realizes with the use of the internet and social media there must be a better, more efficient way of reaching his target audience, generating leads and increasing conversions.  So he starts looking for the tools, training and support to see how he can better market his company to the right people.

Izzy hears about Inbound Marketing. He learns it’s about having a strategic presence where your prospects are searching, and providing the right content and conversion strategies that meet their values and needs. He hates all the spam in his inbox, telemarketing and ads – and guesses, so does his audience. Inbound marketing seems like a better way to go – and what really interests Izzy is that research shows that the cost of a lead is 60% lower with Inbound Marketing tactics and yields a higher conversion rate. Lower cost per lead, higher conversion rate – “wow” Izzy thinks, I need to learn more.
